- Are You a Licensed Facility?
Yes, Pampered Pets Resort is an approved Boarding Facility and we are active members of the Pet Industry Association of Australia. We employ Certified Pet Care Technicians
- Will my pet miss me?
Dogs live in the moment and as soon as you are out of sight, your pets are distracted by the activities of the Resort. Your pets are constantly stimulated by new smells, sounds, sights, activities and new friends. Their holiday will be much the same as yours and they will love to see you when you return.
- What do I need to bring?
- Current C5 Vaccination Certificate for dogs and current F3 Vaccination Certificate for cats
- Prescribed medical diets will need to be provided
- All Medication is required to be in original packaging with clear written instructions. Do not pre-cut or premeasure dosages. Please provide more than is required for your companions holiday
- Collar and Lead and/or Cat Crate
- Can my pet bring his blankets and toys?
Yes, it is a good idea to bring something small that has a scent reminder of you to sleep with. The best thing is a freshly laundered old t-shirt. A toy is also welcome however, we cannot guarantee its return and we often find that like children they like the new toys better.
Pampered Pets Resort provides everything your companion/s require for boarding. Our kennel items are Parasite free, cleaned, deodorised, disinfected and sanitised daily for your pets comfort and health.
If wishing to leave personal items for your companion/s please ensure every item is freshly washed, has had a Tick & Flea Treatment and are clearly labelled suitable for kennel use. We do not allow woollen blankets or quilts.
- When do I need to book?
During the high Season (Christmas, Easter, School & Public Holidays), you will need to book at least 3 months to 12 months in advance. During these times, bookings are made with the minimum board charge at the time of booking.
Long Week End minimum board charge is 3 days
School Holidays and Easter minimum board charge is 5 days
Christmas minimum board charge is 10 days
- When can I check in and check out?
Check In and Check Out hours are:
Monday – Friday: 9 am to 5 pm
Saturday: 9 am to 1 pm
Sunday: 3 pm to 5 pm
To allow your companion to settle in and enjoy his dinner we encourage an early check in, prior to 1200.
So as not to disturb other boarders and our neighbors we reward you by not charging for the day of check out, if check out is completed prior to 1200 Monday through to and including Saturday.
- What happens if my pet gets sick whilst I am away?
We have a Veterinarian on call 24 hours a day. In an emergency, our Veterinarian will be called and your emergency person will be contacted. All consultations and services provided by Veterinarians are charged back to the owner.
- Can I come and see where my pet is staying?
Pampered Pets Resort invites you to visit our establishment. Please phone for an appointment. Tours are between 1 pm and 3 pm Tuesday through to and including Sunday.
We do not offer tours through the high seasons (Christmas, Easter and School & Public Holidays) and check in and check out as you can appreciate these are extremely busy times for us.
